Wind & Water – Sailing Team Experience
A hands-on sports team-building experience on Iskar Reservoir that brings teams into the world of sailing and collaboration on the water.
Participants step aboard racing sailboats and go through real-time situations where synchronization, communication, and trust are essential. While learning basic sailing skills, teams naturally develop coordination, trust, and a shared rhythm.
With the guidance of the BORA Sailing instructors, the group learns fundamental sailing techniques, wind awareness, and onboard coordination. The experience combines focus, strategy, and actual maritime tasks.
Games and competitive elements add energy and dynamics to the experience. Working in teams encourages strategy, communication, and fast coordination on the water.
Program
Introduction and preparation
The group gets familiar with the boats, the basics of sailing, and the different crew roles.
Working on board
Participants sail together and coordinate their actions in a real on-water environment.
Navigation and synchronization
With the support of the instructors, the team develops communication, trust, and a shared rhythm.
Final sail and connection
The experience ends with a sense of shared achievement, stronger team cohesion, and a break from the usual work rhythm.
Facilitator
BORA Sailing is a team of sailors, instructors, and organizers united by the idea that sailing builds not only skills, but people.
Over the past years, they have been developing competitive and corporate sailing in Bulgaria through regattas, training programs, and team formats at Iskar Reservoir, Varna, and Burgas. For them, sailing is an environment where communication, trust, and synchronization happen naturally—because on the water, every action matters.
